- The next instalment of the Star Trek Official Starships Collection features a Romulan shuttle from the DS9 episode ‘In the Pale Moonlight’.
- The Romulan Star Empire employed this form of the shuttle in the 2370s.
- It shared the same design architecture as other Romulan ships and was more advanced and stronger than the standard shuttles used by Starfleet, and more like a Runabout regarding its size and its abilities.
